Meet The Team.

Daniel P. Fogarty, MPT
Dan, a 1994 graduate of Shenandoah University, holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Dan's area of clinical excellence is in orthopedic physical therapy. He has taken extensive post-graduate coursework in manual therapy, sports medicine, and orthopedics. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a member of the sports/orthopedics therapy section. In 2002, Dan established Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates and his and ORA's mission is to create a clinical environment whereby our patients overcome physical limitations through a combination of clinical and interpersonal skills that are unmatched in our marketplace.

Chad Ansell, DPT
Richard “Chad” Ansell is a 2000 graduate of Regis University, holding a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and has completed a number of post-graduate manual therapy courses. Chad completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the spring of 2005. He specializes in orthopedic Physical Therapy with focus on spine and extremity rehabilitation. He coordinates with local physicians in the evaluation, assessment, and prescription of orthotics to optimize lower extremity biomechanics with walking and recreational activities. Chad was raised in Colorado Springs and is committed to providing you with Physical Therapy services that are unmatched in this community. He is the manager of the clinic at 6140 Tutt Blvd.

Lydia McKenzie, MSPT
Lydia graduated from New Mexico State University where she earned a BS in Community Health and then continued her education at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where she received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Lydia worked in an acute care setting at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, and now works with patients in the Personal Wellness Center as well as the Orthopedic Center at ORA.

Danielle Spivey, MSPT
Danielle is a Certified Vestibular Therapist holding a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy that she received from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 1999. Her research topic was on the reliability of the sensory organization on balance, which started her in the direction of vestibular rehabilitation. She directed the balance center program at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado for five years prior to establishing the Balance Center at Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates in Colorado Springs in September of 2004. She passed the vestibular competency exam with Susan Herdman PT, PhD at Emory University in March of 2004. In addition to her work at Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates, she instructs other physical therapists in the specialty of vestibular rehabilitation.

Adrian Marrero, PT, DPT
Adrian received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University (Denver, CO) in 2006 and received his B.A. in psychology from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. Adrian's special interests are in soccer, orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Adrian grew up in Colorado Springs and speaks Spanish.


Ann King, OTR, CHT
Ann graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in 1982. She became Certified in Hand Therapy in 1997. She previously worked at a Physical Therapy clinic in Virginia seeing patients from local orthopedic physicians, as well as, patients treated at the University of Virginia. She is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.

Mary Hollenbeck, PTA
Mary received her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from De Anza Community College in 1979. She has a wide variety of experience in various rehabilitation settings. Her primary interest and extensive training is in the area of women's health. She developed community education programs for bowel and bladder incontinence and pregnancy exercise classes. She developed a women's health rehabilitation clinic for Gunnison Valley Hospital in Gunnison, Colorado and then later for Penrose Community Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mary joined the team at Orthopedic Rehabilitation Associates in 2004, where she established the Personal Wellness Center, helping both men and women with incontinence, pelvic pain, and scar pain.

Donna Hutcheson, PTA
Donna received her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Lehigh County Community College in 1987. She expanded her skills with continuing education courses with a special interest in the shoulder, lower extremities and spine. Her experience lies in assisting in the rehabilitation process of varied orthopedic diagnoses. Donna joined the ORA team in November 2003 and assists other physical therapists in helping you reach your functional goals and making your rehabilitation experience a positive one.

Gary Ellsworth, PTA
Gary holds an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Denver Technical college, a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Weber State University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Dayton. He is retired from the United States Air Force. He has over six years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation with emphasis in spinal cord injury and stroke therapies. His experience includes treatment of traumatic brain injury and orthopedic therapy techniques in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, Gary has extensive therapeutic experience with joint replacements and other orthopedic issues.

Melinda Dierks, PTA
Melinda graduated with honors from Morgan Community College in 1991 with an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has focused on orthopedic therapy in outpatient clinics and nursing homes throughout Colorado. She assists Danielle Spivey, MSPT with vestibular rehabilitation at the Balance Center as well as other physical therapists in the Orthopedic Center at ORA.
